The "high speed" mode for digital gyros opened. With transmission
rate of 115 KBaud, the data repetition rate is kept at 4800 Hz. This
new mode allows digital gyro to realize fully 1kHz bandwidth of
analog sensor. Every sending provides 14-bits gyro output. Supposed
for wideband digital feedbacks for angular controls and
stabilizations tasks. Dynamic tests of moving objects are
among other intended applications. Initially high speed option will
be offered for VG949PD model (Scale Factor will be increased to keep
high resolution).

Fizoptika, for its digital models,
has
launched new software platform
made in Labview environment.
GyroMonitor (G-viewer)
program is
the powerful tool enhanced with number of distinct
features
and
modes of operation
that may be used
directly in a lot of
real
applications.
Friendly and clear interface and
convenient controls makes
easy reading, displaying
and writing the
gyro data even at highest repetition
rate.
The program is also quite
proper tool for gyro evaluation and testing.
18.08.2011
The default mode of digital gyros is
set to 115KBaud from August 15. This follows to the majority of
customers requests.

The first model of USB-gyro is in
development. Based on VG910D concept it will be equipped with newly
developed AD converter with USB interface ended by mini-usb
connector. Low noise (LN - 0.005 deg/hr sqrt)
version to be available.
LabView drivers will be developed for using in conventional
system design.
25.07.2011
Following successful tests of
VG103LN
engineering samples Fizoptika began pilot production of new
extremely low
noise gyro (ARW 0.01 deg/hr sqrt.).
17.05.2011
The first engineering sample of
the gyro model VG 103 LN (low noise) has
been tested to
confirm its ARW below 0.01 deg/hr sqrt.
Essential
noise reduction was achieved with double
length of fiber and
highly increased SLD intensity launched into fiber. Since SLD
dissipation
was higher the additional aluminum heatsink was embedded into gyro plastic cover.
Blue light indicates
supplied power.

Fizoptika reports intermediate results of running qualification
tests:
continuous thermo-cycling -60C/+70C revealed no change in the
gyros VG949P s/n 025641and VG071P s/n 010777 after 14 months of
testing; in the gyros VG910F s/n 028861, 028862 and VG910H s/n
028849, 028850 after 10 months of testing.

T he only model worldwide
having diameter 30mm along its sensitivity axis is coming under name
of VG091B. It replaces formerly produced model VG941-3B.
VG091B demonstrates higher durability and better performance. Aimed
to be used for boring and pipe surveying applications along with
numerous testing and monitoring tasks.
For comparison VG091B is shown
together with VG091A. The last has same length
and smaller diameter. Models VG091A and VG091B provide unique
opportunity to built
3-axis system with diameter 30mm and length less
than 20 cm

VG951 models that were in
production since 1995 are now replaced with recently modified
VG035 family.
VG035 has similar 1 deg/hr performance as VG951, but offers smaller
size, lower weight and enhanced reliability by design with improved
sealing. The model VG035Q offers exceptional 0.1 deg/hr bias
stability.
